Hilariously, doing a check on the IPs of most of these spam comments, they’re originating from the wordpress.com platform. Basically, they can’t fix their own shit at the source (which I have to do self hosting) and quite frankly that is some clown ass shit right there 🤡

I just found a really simple multi-language wordpress plugin and it seems my remaining of the year job will be working on the translated versions of oh.mg

I cut a copy of my LiveJournal posts to import in to micro.blog, better to have more than one version of that than none

Today’s Limited Success™ was using the server I set up with Proton Bridge for WordPress to use so that emails can be PGP encrypted in transit. Any particular need, probably not, but you never know

Because everything is ultra enshittified now, I can’t seem to find a #WordPress Plugin that is FREE that can do a web hook outward when a post is created with a specific category. Zapier 50 bux a month, IFTTT can fuck right off even if it was a euro a year (but it’s not).
